Things we did when the visitors were in town

I was thinking about how many different Portland attractions were visited when my parents and Chow were in town, and thought I'd make a list for posterity's sake-

  • Restaurants: Nutshell, Dalo's, Laurelthirst, Chaos Cafe, Hotlips Pizza, It's a Beautiful Pizza, Veganopolis, Blossoming Lotus
  • Attractions: OMSI, 3D Photography Center, Avalon Wonderland, Bullseye Glass Co. tour, School of Rock show (playing the best of the NW at the Wonder Ballroom)
  • Bars: the Bye and Bye (vegan bar), Ground Kontrol (bar-arcade)
  • Outdoor stuff: the Eastmoreland Rhododendron Garden, Mt. Tabor, the walk across the Hawthorne bridge
  • Misc: Voodoo Doughnut, Foodfight (and Herbivore), game night
Things we didn't get to:
  • The movie theater/breweries, Mt. Hood, Portland Rock Gym, Ya Hala, Forest Park, the Columbia gorge, the art museum, Portlandia
Next time: even more fun
